These two inquired about me potentially photographing their wedding. After some back and forth emails they decided to go forward with booking me (How lucky am I??) We met for a in person consultation and I just knew, yet another “perfect” for me couple landed in my lap. My go-to second shooter once said “you always have the most unique & best clients” and I will forever be flattered at the fact that even though I obviously see it, others take note. It’s true, I DEFINITELY do. I am not the busiest wedding photographer out there. In fact, for the better part of my career I soley focused on portrait photography. With a young child, being a military wife then single mother, photographing weddings seemed like too much to tackle. so I honed in on my family sessions, anything child / baby & whatever in between. As my son got older & I was in the thick of family sessions, I wanted to photograph more couples. Balance out the chaos that family sessions encompass (which I welcome whole HEARTILY). I wanted to venture more into weddings, so i did. I second-shot with photographers & fell in love with weddings. I still am not at a capacity to take on being a full time wedding photographer but I CHERISH every wedding I shoot. I also feel like the less busy I am with weddings, the more opportunities to book couples who I connect with. Anyways, enough yapping. Here’s some photos from their engagement session.
